The Tillandsia Paleacea is one of the more drought tolerant air plants due to its abundance of trichomes, making it great for those in drier climates. If you live in a climate with more humidity, you will need to water the Paleacea infrequently as it will absorb moisture through the air. When in bloom, the fuzzy T. Paleacea will omit a violet flower.

*We recommend dunking or spraying instead of soaking to prevent rot. They will also want plenty of good airflows and bright indirect sunlight.

Upon receiving your air plants, soak in water for 20 - 30 minutes. Then shake off excess water and dry upside down until completely dry. Water plants once or twice a week with misting between as needed. Never leave air plants sit in water for more than an hour – they will rot!

Air plants require bright, indirect light which can be sunlight or consistent indoor lighting.

Good air circulation is important for your air plants! Do not place your air plants in soil.
