Order Processing:

We generally ship within 1-2 business days if your order is placed Monday thru Friday during business hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order is received, the plants are carefully selected from our nursery and then treated, cleaned, and hydrated.  Once completely dry, they can be packaged and are ready for shipment.  Depending on weather conditions where you live, we may hold off on shipping an order if there is a chance it could be damaged from freezing conditions.  Please make sure that if you live in a freezing climate, someone is home to collect the package.  Air Plant Design Studio is not responsible for packages that are left outside in freezing conditions.  We take extra steps to help protect the plants that are being shipped to areas with freezing temperatures, but they are still subject to harm if left outside for prolonged periods of time.

Shipping Info:

If you are having plants shipped to an area where temperatures are below 40 degrees, please choose the winter shipping option at checkout  With the heat pack and extra insulation, we guarantee the plants will make it alive and warm! 

Free shipping on orders $50.00 and over!  We offer a USPS First Class 3-4 day option for $3.99, or USPS Priority for $6.99 on all orders below $50.00, shipped via USPS with tracking number.  For areas with temperatures below 40 degrees, we recommend choosing the winter shipping option for $10.99 that includes priority shipping, a heat pack, and extra insulation.  

Please allow 24hrs for the tracking information to update on the USPS tracking website.  Due to the sensitivity of living air plants, we ship all orders Priority mail and once shipped will generally reach their destination within 2-3 days.  Under certain cold weather conditions and depending on your location, expedited shipping may be required.  We reserve the right to delay shipping an order if severe weather conditions are present. 

Air Plant Design Studio is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the shipping process.  If a package is severely delayed due to the shipping carrier, please contact us directly and we will help as much as we can to track down the missing package.  Air Plant Design Studio is not responsible for any delays that may be caused by the shipping carrier.  Once the item has been shipped, it is out of our control.

We currently are only able ship within the United States.

Upon Receiving Order:

When your plants arrive, make sure to give them a good soak for 20 to 30 minutes.  Once soaked, gently shake off any excess water and allow the plants to dry for a few hours before putting them in a terrarium or container that might restrict air flow.  It is not uncommon for the air plant to have a broken leaf or two after shipping, and may lose a bottom leaf or two while acclimating to its new environment.  All air plants that have roots will be shipped with the roots intact.  If you like, you can use scissor to remove the roots or you can leave them on and use them to help anchor the plant in its new display.  See our Air Plant Care page for more information on how to properly care for your plant and ensure it lives a healthy loving life!

Product Info:

Please remember that air plants are unique living plants that may vary slightly from the pictures on this website.  We do our best to choose the healthiest and best available air plant for your order.  It is perfectly normal for the plants to have minor leaf imperfections and vary slightly in size from what is pictured.  While some photos show the plants in bloom, we normally try to ship the plants prior to blooming so that the whole bloom cycle can be enjoyed by our customers.

We ship most of our air plants with their root system in tact, as some people like to use these roots to anchor the plants. If you don't like the look of the roots, they can be easily trimmed down to be less noticeable - just take care while trimming roots to not trim too close to the plant base, as this can damage the plant.

Returns:

If you are not satisfied with your item, simply return it within 7 days for a full refund on the product, original shipping cost is not refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping. We will issue a refund within 3 business days of receiving the plants.  Plants must be returned in good condition for refund.  Email us at info@airplantdesignstudio.com for return addresses.  Please email us before returning orders.

 

Privacy

Air Plant Design Studio will not sell your information to anyone. The information you provide is used solely to process orders.  Your billing information is never shared.  Your email address will not be given to any third party companies, and will solely be used to communicate any information concerning your order.
